By now, many of the early symptoms (like nausea and fatigue) are fading, and you’re beginning to feel more comfortable in your body. While your belly may still look modest, your body has definitely changed. Your uterus is rising above the pelvic bone, making your tummy appear fuller — even if it hasn’t “popped” yet.
You might notice stronger food cravings, though some women don’t feel like eating more due to lingering heaviness or bloating. Either way, your energy is starting to come back. That constant exhaustion you felt in the first trimester is slowly lifting.
Even though your bump isn’t big yet, your waist and torso have widened, and your regular clothes may feel snug. Time to embrace loose-fitting tops and comfy waistbands!
Thanks to advancements in prenatal imaging, your doctor might be able to determine your baby’s gender this week (or very soon).
