At Week 7, your baby is about the size of a blueberry. You probably haven’t gained much visible weight yet, but you may feel heavier — mostly due to the progesterone hormone working on your uterus and breasts.
Nausea is likely your biggest struggle right now. Try to hang in there — this overwhelming sensation usually fades by the end of the first trimester.
Your appetite may not be great either. You might not feel like eating, but it’s important to keep fueling your body, even if only in small portions.
This phase is tough, but temporary. Once you’re through it safely, you’ll likely feel a wave of relief and renewed energy.
You are much stronger than you think — and this journey will prove it to you.
Also, expect more frequent bathroom trips. Your body is producing extra fluids, and that will continue throughout pregnancy. So try to stay in places where clean toilets are accessible.
