At 10 weeks pregnant, your baby is entering the fetal stage. Learn what foods to avoid, how organs are developing, and why regular checkups matter.
You’re now halfway through your third month — still not visibly pregnant, but there’s a lot going on inside your body. While your belly hasn’t popped yet, your breasts have likely grown noticeably, and it’s time to switch to a larger bra size.
Your baby is about the size of a kumquat — still tiny, but now entering the fetal stage. Vital organs like the kidneys, intestines, brain, and liver are starting to develop and function.
At this point, it’s more important than ever to stick to a healthy, clean diet. Avoid raw or undercooked meats and fish, as well as foods like soft cheeses, mayonnaise, or anything made with raw eggs.
Continue visiting your doctor or midwife regularly and get routine ultrasounds to monitor your baby’s growth.
Your mood may still be all over the place — this is very normal. Just know that this emotional turbulence won’t last forever.
