Your baby is now about the size of a sesame seed — tiny, but already beginning to affect your entire body. At this stage, your baby resembles a little tadpole more than a human, which you may notice if you’ve had an early ultrasound.
You might be experiencing sore breasts, frequent urination, and constant fatigue. These symptoms are common and nothing to worry about — they’re just signs that your body is adjusting to pregnancy.
Many women — especially younger ones — rush to Google the moment they find out they’re pregnant. This can be helpful, but also overwhelming, especially if you haven’t seen your doctor yet.
Some of the information online might be confusing or unnecessarily alarming. So instead, pick one or two reliable websites you trust, and turn to them when you need reassurance or quick answers while waiting to see your doctor.
Also, try not to overexert yourself. Avoid long walks, running, jumping, or standing for extended periods. These aren’t recommended during the early weeks.
